Fire Sprinkler Technician

Role Overview

We are hiring a Fire Sprinkler Technician in Pawtucket, RI. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and local building codes.

What You Will Do

Measure, cut, and install steel and plastic pipes, attach sprinkler heads and fittings, and perform routine inspections, service, and repairs.

Requirements

• Active RI Sprinkler Fitter Journeyman License
• Proven experience installing, repairing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems
• Strong understanding of NFPA standards, national fire codes, and local building regulations
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
• Ability to work in various environments, including heights up to 30 feet and adverse weather conditions
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and operate required tools and lifts safely
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within Rhode Island
• Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines and lift operations
