Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Planning, Natural Resources, or related discipline
- 3 years' experience in negotiating agreements
- 3 years' experience related to lands management, environmental management, and assessment
- Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of budgeting, funding, and funding administration
- Strong negotiation skills
- Engaged federal and provincial agencies and their policies and legislation pertaining to Aboriginal land and resource issues
- Participated in First Nations, provincial lands/resource stakeholder committees and working groups
- Demonstrated knowledge of mining, forestry, energy, and oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of Aboriginal law and understanding of Treaty #8
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
- Comply to Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector, and may be subject to Drug and Alcohol testing
