Electronics Division Director

Role Overview

The Electronics Division Director will lead a small team of engineers and technicians, managing programs, customer relationships, and technical proficiency in the laboratory. They will be responsible for strategic planning, people management, and cost, schedule, quality, and deliverables.

What You Will Do

The Director will design and develop electronics prototypes and processes, communicate technical developments to customers, build the customer base, programs, and products of the division, and delegate work and assignments to team members.

Requirements

• Modeling and Simulation using MATLAB / Simulink
• Digital Signal Processing / Signal Processing
• Signal Analysis using MATLAB / Simulink
• C/C++ programming languages
• FPGA development using VHDL
• Embedded system development
• Understanding of radar signal and data processing
• High-speed and mixed-signal circuit design
• Interfacing to sensors and high speed mixed-signal components
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed
• Excellent managerial/supervisory skills and excellent leadership skills
• Ability to execute tasks based on self-motivation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Extensive technical knowledge of engineering and product development
• Excellent financial skills and ability to analyze financial data
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
• Bachelor's degree in related field, which may include Computer Science or Engineering
• 10 years of Experience; 5 years of Supervisory Experience
• The ability to obtain/maintain a final Secret DoD clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
• Authorization to work for employers in the U.S. without sponsorship
