Welder

American Hydro is seeking a Welder to join its team at the York, PA facility. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, hardworking, and able to work in a team environment.

Requirements

• Proficient in blueprint reading
• Fully proficient with FCAW and SMAW
• Able to set parameters to optimize the operation of the process(s)
• Able to produce high quality welds
• Grinds parts as needed
• Capable of operating gas cutting and air arc gouging process
• Able to weld using larger wire sizes in many situations
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly
• Keeps Supervisor informed of problems
• Able to operate jib cranes and forklifts
• Able to make roll and positioner set ups and assembly of simple, smaller weldments
