The Senior Project Manager is responsible for meeting all contractual requirements of assigned projects in terms of technical performance, costs, and schedules, while developing and implementing business development plans to establish and sustain highly effective relationships with existing clients and new clients.
Requirements
- Responsible for the day-to-day oversight of design, project engineering, right-of-way surveys and acquisitions, plan and job preparation, procurement, construction management and inspection, and managing of project personnel.
- Develops relationships with clients to assure the client’s satisfaction with total project performance.
- Develops relationships with existing and prospective clients to promote and procure additional projects based on the high-quality performance on current projects.
- Promote Company capabilities and value proposition.
- Develops and verifies project scope, evaluates impacts of scope changes to design, cost, and schedule, directs the project team, controls costs, monitors quality of deliverables, identifies project risks and develops risk mitigation plans.
- Works with functional managers to create and lead project teams in execution of projects from conception to close-out.
- Checks and approves client invoices from Project Manager’s respective projects.
- Provide technical guidance to multidiscipline engineers in the design of transmission and distribution natural gas pipeline systems, liquids pipelines, pump stations, compressor stations, measurement & regulating stations, and associated facilities.
- Perform engineering design or calculation activities as required by the client or project related demand.
- Interacts with clients on a regular basis.
- Manages personnel in accordance to project scope and requirements.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Travel as required for site visits, key meetings, and depending upon the project or client needs.
- Participates and supports proposal development as required, including but not limited to cost estimating, scheduling, and project resource management.
