Job Description
Ensono is seeking a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of information systems. This role involves monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all operating systems and assisting in managing z/VM environments. The position reports to the Manager of z/VM, z/Linux team and collaborates with IT and business unit managers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience or equivalent education and experience
- Experience with z/VM using VMSES
- Knowledge of software: Velocity Performance Suite (zVPS, zPRO, zVRM) and Broadcom / CA VM:Manager and composite products
- Experience with Installation and implementation of SSI (Single System Image)
- Experience with, storage administration, DFSMS/VM, and virtual tape
- Experience supporting z/VM to facilitate workloads (Linux on IBM Z, VSEn and z/VSE, CMS, z/OS)
