Chemical Operator II

The Chemical Operator II role involves purifying and maintaining a variety of products in a production environment. Responsibilities include monitoring batch-distillation processes, collecting and submitting chemical samples, performing preventative maintenance on equipment, and utilizing SAP for production management. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High Diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or a related field
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience
• Distillation experience preferred
• Chemical handling experience
• Safety mindset
• PLC operation experience
• Piping and P&ID familiarity
• Inventory management knowledge
• ISO 9001 working knowledge
• Problem-solving skills
• Flexible and able to rapidly respond to new situations
• Ability to frequently lift 50lbs and push up to 130lbs
