Service Market Development Representative

Role Overview

The Market Development Representative is responsible for lead generation and customer conversion for the Epredia Service Business. The representative will contact customers primarily by telephone; but also use email, internet, and other technology to drive conversion for three revenue streams that consists of Service Contracts, Billable Service, and Spare Parts. This role offers the opportunity to spend time with business leaders through all functions in order to gain a full understanding of the business and to drive Service revenue for the Americas Service Organization.

What You Will Do

Manage targeted customer calls, quote inquires, product inquiries, documentation requirements to further the growth of the entire Service portfolio. Proactively and reactively pursue service revenue; to include billable service, lost contracts, and warranty conversions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the sciences or business management, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the healthcare or service industry.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office and CRM (Salesforce) proficiency preferred.
• Must be able to work EST hours.
• Must be willing to travel to customer locations as needed (up to 10%).
