
Job description
The Manager- Privacy Engineering & Data Protection Compliance sits within the Data & Privacy Office (DPO), part of Equinix’s Legal organisation, and is responsible for ensuring that data protection and privacy obligations are effectively implemented and operationalised across systems, processes, and business operations.
Work with the DPO to translate legal and regulatory requirements into actionable technical and operational solutions, support and drive the embedding of privacy-by-design, data governance, and AI governance into technology and business processes, enable the development of scalable frameworks, controls, and tools to support compliance.
The successful candidate will have 8+ years of experience in technical privacy / privacy engineering, technology risk, compliance, or information security, demonstrated experience working across legal, technical, and business domains, experience supporting or implementing privacy and data protection programs, and regulatory & framework knowledge of global data protection and privacy laws.
