We're hiring an Architectural Designer at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO. The role involves upholding design standards, managing projects, and collaborating with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Ensure all design projects company-wide uphold the EquipmentShare design standards
- Establish project goals
- Oversee small teams to produce designs on multiple projects
- Assist team members with project budgets and timelines
- Execute multiple designs under various deadlines
- Translate stated design principles/objectives into unique and varied store locations
- Identify, analyze and solve design and construction problems in a collaborative manner
- Develop form, proportion, scale and materiality of a variety of architectural projects
- Ensure building systems are aesthetically pleasing, functional, reliable and safe
- Participate in onsite visits
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Read, interpret and explain complex technical documents
- Collaborate with interior designers, engineers and contractors
- Prepare sketches or renderings to demonstrate preliminary designs to various internal stakeholders
- Utilize design software to prepare and illustrate final plans, renderings and construction documents
- Ensure project success by performing post-occupancy evaluations
- Maintain current knowledge of trends and materials, building detailing, project delivery and other developments in architectural design
