Senior Frontend Engineer (React)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced frontend professional to strengthen our team and take responsibility for the further development and scaling of our frontend architecture based on React. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on user experience, performance, and maintainability.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include concept and implementation of complex features, integration of REST APIs, conducting code reviews, and ensuring high code quality in the team.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have several years of professional experience in frontend development with a focus on React, very good knowledge of modern JavaScript, and experience in designing and further developing frontend architectures.

Requirements

• Completed education or study in the field of computer science or a comparable qualification through practical experience
• Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in frontend development with a focus on React
• Very good knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+) as well as sound experience with React, Hooks, and the component lifecycle
• Safe handling of TypeScript in productive applications
• Experience in developing and maintaining complex, long-term web applications
• Experience in designing and further developing frontend architectures
• Experience with modern styling approaches, ideally with utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS
• You take responsibility for technical decisions and think beyond your own code
• Structured, quality-conscious working style as well as a high level of self-responsibility and team ability
