Senior PHP / Laravel Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior PHP / Laravel Developer to strengthen our development team. The ideal candidate will take responsibility and want to develop software sustainably. The role involves further development and optimization of existing Laravel-based systems, concept and implementation of new features and applications, and conducting code reviews.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities include developing long-lasting, productive web applications, conducting code reviews, and ensuring code quality. The candidate will also participate in technical concepts, architectures, and development standards.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience in PHP and Laravel development, very good knowledge of object-oriented programming and web architectures, and experience in developing long-lasting, productive web applications.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training or a study in the field of computer science, mathematics or a comparable field – or equivalent practical experience
• At least 5 years of professional experience in PHP and Laravel development
• Very good knowledge of object-oriented programming and web architectures
• Experience in developing long-lasting, productive web applications
• Experience with automated tests in the PHP/Laravel environment (e.g. PHPUnit, Pest)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and structured deployment processes
• Safe handling of version control (Git) and modern development workflows
• High awareness of code quality, maintainability, and performance
