Role Overview

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will assist in the design, development, and optimization of power electronics hardware platforms and related components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and have opportunities to further develop your technical skills.

What You Will Do

Assist in the design and development of power electronics hardware platforms or related components, conduct basic engineering analyses, support failure analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on transformer or related product design
• Proficiency with basic design and analysis tools, including mechanical and thermal analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, FEA)
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IEEE, UL, IEC, CSA) and regulatory requirements (e.g. DOE) for transformers or components
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn and apply technical knowledge under supervision
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
