Senior Video Engineer

Role Overview

As a Senior Video Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and deploying the core media and streaming features of our new livestreaming platform.

What You Will Do

Architect, implement, and optimize real-time streaming and media components using WebRTC, Mediasoup, FFmpeg, RTMP, and HLS.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the design, development, and optimization of real-time streaming media and digital video technology
• Deep expertise in streaming protocols and technologies, including WebRTC, RTMP, HLS, FFmpeg, and codecs like H.264
• Proven experience with media servers (e.g., Mediasoup) and browser media capture/playback technologies (e.g., WebGL, Video.js)
• Strong understanding of video quality metrics, low-latency streaming, and media pipeline architecture
• Experience with Node.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript is required to integrate media components into the full application stack
• Comfort working in Agile/Scrum teams and writing unit/system tests
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Terraform, and cloud infrastructure (GCP/OCI) to deploy and scale media services
