Power Systems Technician

Role Overview

This position is responsible for routine calibration and testing of substation equipment, network equipment, distribution equipment, and communication systems. The person will also perform minor troubleshooting and repairs. Work assignments require proficiency in diverse phases of the company's engineering or technical activities.

What You Will Do

Directs, performs, and is responsible for routine calibration and testing assignments. Performs minor troubleshooting and repairs. Coordinates work activities with others, such as employees of other departments and representatives of consulting firms.

Must possess an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
• Valid driver's license
• Corrective vision, normal color perception, hearing, and a sense of smell
• Leadership and ability to plan for, coordinate, and direct the activities of and work with individuals and groups
