
Job description
This position is responsible for routine calibration and testing of substation equipment, network equipment, distribution equipment, and communication systems. The person will also perform minor troubleshooting and repairs. Work assignments require proficiency in diverse phases of the company's engineering or technical activities.
Directs, performs, and is responsible for routine calibration and testing assignments. Performs minor troubleshooting and repairs. Coordinates work activities with others, such as employees of other departments and representatives of consulting firms.
Must possess an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. Must demonstrate personality traits such as accuracy, initiative, judgment, originality, and attention to detail. Must also demonstrate qualities of leadership and the ability to plan for, coordinate, and direct the activities of and work with individuals and groups.
