
Job description
Develop and maintain system models for transmission studies, conduct adequacy assessments, and participate in regional transmission expansion studies. Collaborate with engineers and personnel in Electric Operations. Train junior staff in technical analyses and procedures.
Conduct reliability studies, analyze power flow, transient stability, short circuit, and electromagnetic transients. Identify key technical issues and develop solutions.
Requires strong technical skills, experience with power system transmission analysis tools, and ability to work with federal, regional, and local planning standards.
