Linux Developer (Embedded)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Linux Developer to join our R&D team, where you will develop and implement software solutions for systems based on single-board computers for drones. The company is rapidly scaling, building processes, and strengthening teams.

What You Will Do

Your tasks will include integration of software components, creation and implementation of software solutions, optimization and improvement of existing software products, testing, validation, and debugging of software, creation and support of technical documentation, and transfer of developed solutions to serial production.

Requirements

• Higher technical education (electronics, computer engineering, or related fields)
• 3+ years of practical experience in developing embedded software
• Experience in developing under Embedded Linux (buildroot)
• Experience in working with or understanding the principles of the Repo build system
• Practical experience in working with SBC / microcomputers (Raspberry Pi, Orange Pi, Nano Pi, or analogues)
• Confident knowledge of C/C++ for embedded / low-level development
• Practical experience in writing Bash scripts
• Knowledge of the basics of electronics, ability to work with datasheets and schemes
• Deep understanding of communication interfaces in Linux systems
• Practical experience in working with protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet, Wi-Fi)
• Understanding of the principles of work of microcontrollers STM32, ESP8266 / ESP32
• Basic knowledge of network protocols
• Experience or understanding of building secure embedded systems (Secure Boot, TrustZone)
• Experience in working with version control systems (Git)
