Maintenance and Calibration Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Maintenance and Calibration Engineer to be responsible for ensuring that all production equipment and industrial assets are effectively managed and maintained according to the Manufacturing Schedules. The team is scaling rapidly and has ambitious growth plans over the next twelve to eighteen months.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities will include developing and implementing a calibration and maintenance strategy, taking ownership of the critical spares process, engaging in safety topics, and supporting the Manufacturing Engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience, with experience in a highly technical manufacturing environment. They will also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex and technical processes to diverse audiences.

Requirements

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience
• Experience in a highly technical manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of tooling, tolerancing and process controls
• Ability to support and plan for future opportunities/volumes
• Experience/knowledge in lean manufacturing principles and variance analysis
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and their limitations
• UK driving license and ability to travel
