We are seeking a Financial Manager to join our team at Evolving Web, responsible for the agency's financial health and strategy, ensuring accuracy of financial reports, operational efficiency, forecasts, and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA designation is a plus)
- More than 5 years of experience in finance/accounting; digital agency or professional services experience is highly valued
- Good knowledge of Canadian and Quebec taxation (US knowledge is a plus)
- Excellent proficiency in Google Sheets or similar tools
- Mastery of accounting software (e.g., Xero, Dex) and project management tools (Redmine, Float, Notion, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and business skills
- Collaborative mindset
- Good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial compliance requirements
- Knowledge of project accounting and revenue recognition
- Proficiency in English and French (French is a significant asset)
