Lead Data Engineer

Role Overview

Join Exadel, an AI-first global tech company, as a Lead Data Engineer. You will work with a team of 2,000+ members on 500+ active projects for Fortune 500 clients. The role involves reviewing data sources, assessing data availability, and identifying implementation risks.

What You Will Do

Review data sources, assess data availability, identify ingestion and integration requirements, and validate AI and automation use cases. Provide implementation-level input, rough sizing for build activities, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on data engineering or backend engineering background
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, APIs, cloud data services, and enterprise integrations
• Working knowledge of Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, AWS, or comparable platforms
• Ability to assess data readiness and implementation feasibility
• Experience supporting architecture and discovery phases
• Ability to communicate technical risks clearly to non-technical stakeholders
