AWS Solution Architect

Role Overview

The AWS Solution Architect is responsible for designing, positioning, and supporting scalable, secure, and commercially viable AWS solutions for partners and customers. The role sits at the intersection of pre-sales, architecture, and delivery, translating business requirements into well-architected AWS designs aligned to EXN Cloud offerings and AWS best practices.

What You Will Do

Design end-to-end AWS architectures, produce high-quality solution documentation, ensure designs are scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-optimised, act as trusted technical advisor to partners and customers, support technical discovery workshops, architecture reviews, and solution validation.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience designing solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS), solid understanding of core AWS services, experience supporting pre-sales or customer-facing technical roles, and a customer- and partner-centric mindset.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience designing solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Solid understanding of core AWS services (compute, storage, networking, security, identity, monitoring)
• Experience supporting pre-sales or customer-facing technical roles
• Understanding of migration and modernisation use cases
• Familiarity with AWS commercial constructs (e.g. Marketplace, programmes) is desirable
• AWS certifications (e.g. Solutions Architect Associate / Professional) preferred
