Junior Financial Controller

Role Overview

As a Junior Financial Controller, you will be responsible for efficient and accurate administration, handling the general ledger and monthly closing, and ensuring the right information is available for monthly reports. You will work independently, but also in a team, and report to the Finance Manager.

What You Will Do

You will support the Financial Manager in preparing and analyzing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, check and process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions, and perform financial analyses to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities.

The ideal candidate has an MBO+ in finance, accounting, or a related field, between 2-5 years of experience in a similar role or accounting, and extensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Requirements

• MBO+ in finance, accounting, or related field
• Between 2-5 years of experience in a similar role or accounting
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Strong analytical skills, accurate, and detail-oriented
• Fluent command of Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing
