Job description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our Global IT team. In this role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining our Data Platforms within the Data & Analytics domain. Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver robust, scalable data pipelines and architectures that meet business requirements, while ensuring high quality and alignment with best practices.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics. Implement data ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows from multiple data sources. Lead a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
10+ years’ experience as a Senior Azure Data Engineer or Consultant, with proven leadership in managing data engineering teams, mentoring, and driving career development. Expertise in defining and executing data platform strategies, shaping data architecture and governance frameworks, and leading IT transformation initiatives in global organisations.
