We are seeking a Senior Flight Control Engineer in our Boulder, Colorado facility to develop flight control laws, contribute to control architectures, and improve processes and methods for flight control.
Requirements
- BS / MS in Aeronautical Engineering or related fields
- 10+ years of professional experience in Flight Control Law development in fly-by-wire programs
- Expert-level knowledge of fixed-wing handling qualities
- Industry experience with and understanding of aircraft electronic flight control systems
- Background in aerodynamics and flight dynamics
- Version Control and Requirements Management: experience with version control systems like Git and requirements management tools such as DOORS or Jama
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to Detail: a meticulous approach to ensure the accuracy and completeness of engineering artifacts
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
