
Job description
We are seeking a highly technical Principal Product Manager to own Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) for Expedia Group's brands. The role involves owning the channel-level thesis, roadmap, technical execution, measurement, and performance outcomes end to end. The Principal PM will work closely with a dedicated engineering pod and report to the Head of Organic & Agentic Search.
In this role, you will own the AEO strategy, roadmap, and outcomes end to end, sequencing investment across the full retrieval stack. You will also monitor the frontier AI ecosystem, track industry news, and build and maintain a structured point of view on where the answer-engine market is heading.
This role requires a builder-mindset Principal Product Manager with 10+ years of experience in product management, growth, or technical product leadership. You should have a demonstrated zero-to-one track record of building and scaling a net-new channel, capability, or product from inception to measurable commercial outcomes.
