Engineering Manager - Java Full stack

Experian is a global data and technology company seeking an Engineering Manager - Java Full stack to lead a team of full-stack engineers and contribute to the design and development of scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular/React. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on full-stack development, and expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.

Requirements

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of full-stack engineers
• Contribute hands-on to the design and development of scalable applications
• Architect and optimize distributed systems on AWS
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of features
• Guide engineers in writing clean, maintainable, testable code
• Drive engineering best practices across CI/CD, DevOps, code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment automation
• Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and DevOps teams
• Conduct architectural reviews
• Lead root-cause analysis efforts
• Build and maintain a strong engineering culture
• Identify opportunities for modernization, automation, and platform improvement
