Role Overview

Expleo is seeking a Senior Design Authority Team Leader to lead and engineer teams through design projects, ensuring products meet strict customer requirements. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to advanced defence technology, supporting the security of the UK and its allies.

What You Will Do

Manage design evolution, lead and complete DFMEA's, approve production processes and tooling, demonstrate compliance with customer requirements, and specify and review structural, thermal, and ballistic analyses.

Requirements

• Formal qualification in mechanical, aeronautical, physics, or related engineering discipline
• Proven experience as a Design Authority
• Working within a safety-critical environment
• High-level knowledge and experience of DFMEA
• Good engineering leadership and management skills
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
