Senior Scientist - Ecotoxicology

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Scientist - Ecotoxicology to join our Chemical Regulation and Food Safety Practice in Harrogate (UK), Nottingham (UK), London (UK), Dublin (IE), Mannheim (DE) or Basel (SW) offices. You will be responsible for conducting environmental risk assessments for plant protection products and providing advice to clients on ecotoxicology issues.

Conduct environmental risk assessments, provide advice to clients, summarise and interpret data, and contribute to multi-disciplinary project teams.

Requirements

• MSc. degree or equivalent in relevant discipline (e.g. biology, environmental science)
• Experience of completing environmental risk assessments under EU plant protection product legislation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong team working skills
• Sound judgement and decision-making ability
• Good numeracy skills
