The Director, Data Platform Management will lead the teams responsible for delivering excellence in execution and evolving the platforms, defining the self-service model for data platforms and establishing access and provisioning policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Information Management, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in data and analytics technologies
- At least 5 years of experience in leadership and employee development
- At least 3 years of experience in ITIL practices and IT service management in data technology operations
- At least 3 years of experience in data solution architecture in at least 2 of the following capabilities: business intelligence, reference data management, enterprise data catalogs, data engineering, and data integration
- At least 2 years of experience in managing managed service providers, vendors, and contracts
- Attested experience in data platform management in at least three of the following data technology domains: business intelligence, machine learning and AI, relational database management, data governance, data engineering, data integration, cloud-based data platforms on Azure
- Experience with deployment and configuration tools (using continuous integration and continuous delivery practices)
- Excellent understanding of agile deployment practices
- Proficiency in both official languages of Canada (English and French) - minimal level of oral proficiency (B2)
