Software Development Manager, Developer Productivity & AI Systems

Role Overview

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the development of scalable, intelligent, AI-powered systems that simplify the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from idea and requirements through production operations. This is a hands-on leadership role that involves setting technical direction, reviewing designs and PRs, removing blockers, and owning outcomes end-to-end. The role is hybrid, with work in Squad Model across all GEO Centers.

What You Will Do

Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing Developer Productivity engineering team, own delivery of developer productivity platforms, define and execute roadmaps, manage dependencies and risk across teams, ensure high-quality, on-time delivery and adoption, and communicate clearly with stakeholders on progress, tradeoffs, and outcomes.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience managing software engineers, 8+ years total experience in software engineering, a strong hands-on background in backend, platform, or systems engineering, experience building internal developer tools or productivity platforms, and practical experience applying AI/ML or LLM-based systems to engineering workflows.
