Performs radiographic exams to assist in a diagnosis of disease and injuries. Works effectively with patients and patients' families and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel. Carries out all duties while maintaining compliance and confidentiality and promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization.
Requirements
- LMRT Education: Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology that meets the requirements for Texas certification of Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist.
- Radiology Technologist Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school.
- At least one year of related work experience preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Technologist through the Texas Medical Board.
- Radiological Technologist must be in good standing with American Registry of Radiological Technologist.
- Current AHA approved Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course completion card or within 60 days of hire required.
