Job Description
Progressive Machining Co. is seeking an experienced CNC machinist to operate a Haas CNC machine. The role involves setup, program operation, material identification, accurate measurements, and ensuring job quality. Candidates should be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects.
Requirements
- Setup and program machinery
- Identify material to be cut
- Accurately read a tape measure
- Lift and move heavy objects (50lb+)
- Use grinder to grind edges of material
- Inspect cut products
- Maintain equipment
- Keep work area clean
- Work efficiently and safely
- Assist co-workers
