
Job description
Assistant Project Managers provide general management for electrical construction projects and oversee staff. They work under the guidance of the Project or Group Manager. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of Accubid and AutoCAD is preferred, and general knowledge of electrical components and applications is preferred.
Contacts vendors to obtain materials for construction projects, plans and organizes electrical and/or specialty systems construction projects, and ensures that projects are completed profitably, in a timely manner, and according to customer expectations.
The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management/Electrical Engineering, minimum of 1-2 years of experience in electrical construction, project management, or a related field, and prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly desirable.
