Job Description
The Y is seeking an energetic and reliable Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging and safe group classes in a YMCA environment. The role involves promoting member wellness, maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere, and embodying YMCA core values. The position focuses on building relationships with members and upholding YMCA policies and procedures.
Requirements
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (ACE, NETA, AFAA, NASM).
- YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification within 60 days of hire.
- At least one year of experience teaching group wellness classes.
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent attendance
- Adherence to check-in/check-out policies.
