Data Governance Analyst

The Data Governance Analyst is part of the Enterprise Data Management Center of Excellence, supporting the execution of Data Management and Governance initiatives. This role blends foundational data governance knowledge with hands-on coordination responsibilities, helping ensure governance workstreams are organized, documented, tracked, and progressing consistently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, data governance, project coordination, business operations, or related roles
• Foundational understanding of data governance concepts such as data ownership, stewardship, data quality, metadata, lineage, and privacy
• Familiarity with data governance and data management tools (e.g., data catalogs, issue trackers, collaboration tools)
• Exposure to program or project management practices (Agile familiarity is a plus)
• Experience supporting forums, councils, or recurring working groups
