Senior Microwave Filter Design Engineer

Filtronic is seeking a Senior Microwave Filter Design Engineer to lead the development of RF and Microwave Filter projects, overseeing all phases of project development and facilitating collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will have experience in RF and Microwave Filter design, proficiency in using RF design tools, and the ability to interface effectively with internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Relevant degree (or equivalent) in RF/Microwave Engineering
• Proficiency in using RF design tools such as Microwave Office, and CST Studio and Spark3D
• Significant experience of RF and Microwave Filter design including tolerance/yield analysis, power handling / temperature drift assessment, MTBF calculations and DFM
• Demonstrable hands-on experience of tuning RF and microwave filters using VNA's, power handling and temperature tests
