
Job description
Firefly Instrumentation and Control Technicians within the launch group are responsible for the calibration, installation and maintenance of launch site instrumentation and control systems. You will work as part of a small team requiring minimal supervision, so a self-starter is a must!
Performs work according to policy, procedures and specifications. Constructs launch data monitoring and control systems from specific instrumentation and communication devices. Installs, calibrates, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs major electronic systems and peripheral devices per manufacturer's specification.
Ability to correctly interpret complex detailed electrical, electronic drawings and prints. Skilled in the use of personal computers and numerous software applications such as Excel, Word, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, etc. AIAA or DoD Electronic Principles certifications.
