
Job description
Firefly Aerospace is seeking an experienced spacecraft structures engineer to develop primary and secondary structures for their Blue Ghost Lunar Lander and Elytra vehicles. The successful candidate will be part of a highly skilled team and will be involved in all aspects of analysis, design, fabrication, and testing.
Design and develop composite and metallic structures for orbital and lander spacecraft, perform mass and production rate optimization, and support production teams with onsite review and verification.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ASME Y14.5 and drafting techniques, experience with precision structural integration and manufacturing techniques, and excellent collaboration and communication skills.
