
Job description
Vehicle Integration Technicians are responsible for the efficient/successful assembly and test of the Alpha Launch Vehicle. This requires the ability to intuitively understand the intention behind design decisions and execute assembly based on those intentions. A strong background in production or maintenance of complex avionics systems such as in aviation is required. The role also includes travel to the launch site in order to support integrated vehicle and launch pad operations.
Follow complex assembly procedures and work instructions, execute integration processes, stage, set up, assemble, test and install flight hardware including installation of cable harnessing.
Proven experience with complex assemblies, production in aviation, and ability to work in ESD environments. Proficient in use of DMM, basic avionics hand tools, basic mechanical hand tools and precision measurement equipment.
