MORTGAGE LENDER

Provide quality service to customers in specified lending areas, including consumer, mortgage, and commercial loans. Make sound decisions based on information obtained and fully understand the lending process and applicable rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Meet with customers to discuss the best financing for their needs
• Responsible for soliciting, originating, analyzing, underwriting and coordinating the closing of consumer, residential, and small commercial loans
• Must be well versed in policies, procedures and processes, i.e., applications, credit reports, title work, flood report, etc.
• Implements programs and assists in attaining Bank goals through active participation in officer call programs
• Must be able to effectively cross sell Bank products and generate business to further develop account relationships
• Assist Loan Recovery staff with collection activities as necessary
