Analyst, SSA Strategic Insights Contractor

The Analyst will support the team's monitoring of economic, political, and regulatory developments in the SSA region. The position is remote, with a short-term initial contract subject to extension. The contractor will be responsible for conducting primary and secondary research, analyzing implications for multinational companies, and creating analysis and presentations advising senior executives.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of work experience
• Bachelor's (or Master's) degree from a top-tier academic institution in a relevant field, ideally Economics
• Strong economics knowledge, demonstrated through academic coursework or practical experience
• Exceptional communication skills in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Demonstrated ability to cover a variety of topics and issues, including unfamiliar ones
• Familiarity with quantitative economic analysis
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• A team-oriented mindset
