The CTE Academic Teacher - Physical Therapy Aide position is a key member of the Career Technical Education teaching team, responsible for preparing students for careers as physical therapy aides.
Requirements
- Facilitate courses in the Physical Therapy healthcare pathway
- Create and maintain an engaging learning environment
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback based on learning objectives/outcomes
- Maintain regular office hours in order to advise and assist students
- Attend CTE Team and CTE Advisory Committee meetings
- Teach and provide support to other instructors as needed to support the overall CTE program
- Develop partnerships with community based organizations, industry sector leaders, and others who can provide mentorship and work based opportunities to students
