Product Designer

Role Overview

The Product Designer will use CAD software to create innovative product 3D designs that meet customer requirements. The role involves preparing detail drawings and tolerance studies.

What You Will Do

Generate new product designs, package products into customer vehicle environments, upload 3D data to customer web portals, and conduct tolerance stack up studies.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Engineering or a Community College diploma in Engineering Technology, strong organizational and communication skills, and experience with design management software.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering or Community College diploma in Engineering Technology
• Strong organizational skills
• 3-5 years' work experience in a similar position
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Design management Software (NX, Catia, Ideas, Key Creator, etc…)
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Strong analytical ability
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good presentation skills
• Good Computer Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
• Good GD&T knowledge
