Job description
The Buyer Direct will be coordinating activities involved with procuring direct materials, components, and equipment. This role will be based in Pune and report to the Manager.
Maintaining relations with suppliers, placing orders for necessary raw materials and purchased parts, receiving and handling confirmations, tracking shipments, and minimizing the risk of obsolescence.
Typically requires a minimum of 1 to 2 years of procurement experience, ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos, and ability to write simple correspondence.
