Job description
The Equipment Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role reports to the Equipment Maintenance Manager and is located in Guadalajara, North Campus. The engineer will troubleshoot and repair equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with the installation and removal of process equipment.
The Equipment Maintenance Engineer will identify machine malfunctions, repair equipment, perform calibrations and re-qualifications, and record times and problems in equipment logs. They will also provide daily equipment functioning activity information and assist engineers with test, calibration, repair, and evaluation plans.
This role requires a background in manufacturing, knowledge of SMT and Backend equipment, and experience in inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
