AI FinOps Engineer

Requirements

• 3+ years of FinOps, cloud cost management, or financial operations experience
• Deep knowledge of AWS cost management tools: Cost Explorer, Budgets, Compute Optimizer, Trusted Advisor
• Strong understanding of AWS pricing models: On-Demand, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Spot
• Experience building cost allocation models and chargeback systems
• Proficiency with data analysis tools
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and how it impacts costs
• Strong communication skills — ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments where financial controls matter
