Job Description
The HVAC Systems Specialist oversees maintenance, repairs, and installations of HVAC equipment. They are responsible for preventative maintenance, contract services, team management, and representing plant operations at safety committees. Knowledge of HVAC systems, including chillers, circulating water pumps, and air handling units, is crucial. They also maintain equipment and report to management on sales opportunities and cost savings.
Requirements
- Maintain, repair, install, calibrate, lubricate, and adjust all types of plant equipment.
- Maintain and repair boilers and associated support equipment and controls.
- Conduct inspections of facilities equipment and services.
- Represent Plant Operations at safety committee, quality improvement initiative, construction projects, staff meetings, and as appropriate.
