Electrical Designer

Role Overview

The Electrical Designer is responsible for designing industrial electrical systems for FPS machines, supporting colleagues throughout the design process, and balancing company cost considerations with customer value.

What You Will Do

Develop and maintain electrical drawings, design power distribution and control system drawings, generate bills of materials, and provide field installation support.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Electrical Engineering, demonstrate a solid understanding of electrical and control principles, and be capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical
• Knowledge of relevant electrical standards (UL, CSA, CE)
• EGBC registration as a P.Eng. or EIT
