Adjunct Faculty Pool- Fort Lewis College

Fort Lewis College seeks adjunct faculty to teach various disciplines, including business, science, math, music, and theater. Adjunct instructors are responsible for teaching 3 credits per course, are temporary, non-benefited, and one-semester appointments.

Requirements

• Facilitate courses that are already developed either online or in-person
• Promptly assess student work, providing specific and actionable feedback
• Adapt instruction based on students' needs while maintaining high expectations
• Continuously improve instruction to ensure Student Learning Outcomes are met
• Maintain competency and currency in your professional field
• Follow all college policies and procedures
• Work collaboratively with others, utilizing a collegial style in all forms of communication
• Maintain knowledge and awareness of digital accessibility including the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 508
• Produce and remediate digitally accessible materials in accordance with FLC standards
