Senior Software Developer

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our team in Burnaby, BC, Canada. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in software development within Unix/Linux environments and 3+ years of experience in Linux kernel development. The role will involve developing, designing, and testing software for Fortinet products, as well as maintaining, evaluating, and optimizing the implementation of software and firmware products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development within Unix/Linux environments
• 3+ years of experience in Linux kernel development
• Strong expertise in C/C++ and data structures
• In-depth knowledge and experience with networking concepts and architecture
• Strong understanding of the Linux kernel network protocol stack
• Ability to quickly switch focus and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
